The KX-EX1000ZPPY218 is the long-range night PTZ — a 2MP, 18x-zoom explosion-proof pan-tilt-zoom camera using a laser illuminator for far greater night reach than standard IR LEDs.
What sets the KX-EX1000ZPPY218 apart
Laser illumination projects much further than LED IR, making this the pick for large, dark hazardous sites where you need to both steer to and illuminate distant activity. The ZPPS218 uses LED IR (shorter range) plus a wiper.
