What SIM and data plan do I need?
Our fleet systems work with any UK network — EE, Vodafone, O2 or Three. You can bring your own SIM or buy a pre-configured one from us. Most dashcam and tracking units use 5–15 GB per month depending on how much video you upload and how often you check live streams.
Many of our mobile DVR units support dual-SIM failover, so if one network drops out the system automatically switches to the backup. This is especially useful for rural routes or areas with patchy coverage. We can help you choose the right data plan based on your fleet size and usage patterns.
Frequently asked questions
Can drivers see their own scores?
Yes — driver apps show real-time feedback and scores. This encourages self-improvement and reduces fuel costs.
Is the dashcam footage stored?
Footage is recorded to a local SD card or SSD. Critical events are uploaded to the cloud automatically via 4G. Full footage can be downloaded remotely.
Does it integrate with our existing systems?
Yes — our platform offers API integration with route planning, payroll, maintenance and ERP systems.
How long does installation take per vehicle?
Most installations take 1–2 hours per vehicle. We can arrange mobile fitting at your depot or our approved installers can come to you.
What happens if a vehicle goes out of mobile signal?
The system continues recording locally and uploads footage automatically when signal returns. GPS location history is stored on the device and syncs later.
Is there a monthly cost per vehicle?
Yes — typical plans run £10–£25 per vehicle per month, covering data, cloud storage and platform access. Volume discounts apply for larger fleets.
Can I add or remove vehicles as my fleet changes?
Absolutely. You can scale up or down at any time with no long-term contract penalties on most plans.
