The KX-EX1000PPS218 is a full pan-tilt-zoom explosion-proof camera with a built-in wiper — 2MP with 18x optical zoom, so one unit can actively cover a large hazardous area and keep its window clear.
What sets the KX-EX1000PPS218 apart
Where the bullets are fixed-position, this PTZ steers to 255 preset positions over RS485 (PELCO-D/P) and adds an integrated wiper for wet, dusty and washdown sites. This variant is the daytime/lit PTZ — for night IR, see the ZPPS218 (IR) or ZPPY218 (laser).
