UOVision Acoustic Recorder – Wildlife Audio (IP68, 50m Pickup)

The UOVision Acoustic Recorder is a rugged, IP68-waterproof field audio recorder for wildlife, bioacoustics and environmental monitoring. Two high-sensitivity omni-directional microphones capture a wide 20Hz–24kHz range and pick up sound from up to 50 metres, saving high-quality WAV files — with an optional 4G version that sends recordings back over the network.

Choose the Non-Wireless (UVSW3) for standalone SD-card recording, or the 4G Wireless (UMSW3) to have recordings delivered automatically over the mobile network via FTP/FTPS. Selectable sampling rates up to 96kHz make it suitable for serious bioacoustic surveys — birdsong, bats (within range), amphibians and general soundscape monitoring.

Two versions

UVSW3 (Non-Wireless) records locally to an SD card and runs on 8× AA (or an optional 6.5Ah lithium pack) — the simplest, lowest-cost option. UMSW3 (4G Wireless) adds a 4G modem with FTP/FTPS so recordings are delivered to you automatically, powered by an included 6.5Ah lithium pack. Choose your version above.
