KX-EX600PWK 100 degree centigrade high temperature Explosion proof camera housing
The KX-EX600PWK is a heavy-duty ATEX explosion-proof camera housing built for one job the standard housings can't do: keeping a camera running in genuinely hot environments. Rated for continuous operation from −45℃ all the way to +100℃, it uses Peltier-effect semiconductor cooling to actively draw heat away from the camera — so you can mount CCTV right next to furnaces, kilns, dryers and boilers without the electronics overheating.
What makes the PWK different from a standard housing
A standard explosion-proof housing such as the KX-EX600PW is rated for normal ambient temperatures. The PWK adds active Peltier cooling — it automatically cools above 40℃ and self-heats below 5℃ — extending the safe operating window to a full +100℃. That's the difference between a housing that merely survives a hot plant and one that keeps working reliably inside it.
